For those looking to attend GDC next year but are in need of safe childcare options during the event, we're happy to share that "GDC Kids" onsite childcare is available for parents and caretakers at GDC 2024, and registration is now open.
The Game Developers Conference has partnered with KiddieCorp to provide onsite childcare at the Moscone Center for parents and caretakers who may not otherwise be able to attend GDC. It's available for kids ages 6 months to 12 years old, from March 20-24, 2023, and costs $12 per hour per child (with a minimum of two hours each day).

The childcare team's goal is to provide attendees' children with a comfortable, safe, and happy experience. Their staff to child ratios are high to ensure that every child feels special (1:2 for children ages 6-11 months old; 1:3 for 1-2 year olds; 1:5 for 3-5 year olds; and 1:7 for 6-12 year olds). KiddieCorp team members are selected according to their integrity, experience, education, and enthusiasm. In short: They must be wonderful with kids!
In addition to their selective and competitive hiring process, KiddieCorp remains at the top of the industry by carrying ample liability insurance. Information on KiddieCorp's health policies and safety plans are available on their registration page.
Spots for this hourly childcare service are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis—so it's recommended that parents register their kids early.
