GDC 2025 Welcomes 5 New Members to Advisory Board

The Game Developers Conference, happening March 17-21, 2025, will feature hundreds of sessions programmed by GDC Advisors. GDC is excited to welcome the following five industry leaders to the GDC Advisory Board. 

This year, GDC is excited to welcome the following industry leaders who are joining the GDC Advisory Board. Advisors work to support the show and evaluate submissions on one or more of the following topics in the Core Concepts program: AdvocacyAudioBusiness & MarketingDesignProduction & Team LeadershipProgramming, and Visual Arts.

Submissions are open through Thursday, August 8 at 11:59pm PT for lectures, roundtables, and panels for the Core Concepts portion (Wednesday–Friday) of the weeklong event.  Check out this blog with everything you need to know to submit a talk for GDC 2025. 

Starting August 22, the 2025 GDC Summits and Game Career Seminar will be accepting submissions to present lectures and panels. Those proposals will be reviewed by GDC Summit Advisors.

Tülay McNally

Sr. Director, Inclusive Game Design | Scopley

Tülay McNally's passion lies in promoting developer- and player-centered inclusive design thinking in game development, creating solutions that enable safe, enjoyable, and positive interactions for everyone. Tülay's career in the gaming industry spans over two decades. Her video game career began with Square Enix and SEGA of Europe. In 2010, she joined BioWare as Director of QA & Central Development Operations. In 2018, she joined the DICE Studio Operations team, leading strategic initiatives to improve studio culture. In 2020, Tülay became the first Director of Inclusive Design & Product Development at Electronic Arts. In 2023, she joined Scopely as Senior Director of Inclusive Game Design. Tülay holds a Master of Arts in American Studies from Ludwig-Maximilians University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation & Design Thinking from Guglielmo Marconi University. Tülay is also a certified coach and mentor. 

Wilbert Roget, II

Owner/Composer | RogetMusic, LLC

Wilbert Roget, II is a veteran composer in the video game and animation industries, penning the scores to Star Wars: Outlaws, Helldivers 2, Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, Mortal Kombat 1, Call of Duty: WWII, and several other high-profile titles. He is also the co-founder of Impact Soundworks, one of the world’s premiere music software companies, and is an accomplished lecturer on video game music. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Game Audio Network Guild. 

Victoria Tran

Community Director | Innersloth                

Victoria Tran is the Community Director at Innersloth, creators of Among Us. Her work in community and social strategy include Venba, Unpacking, and was once the Communications Director at Kitfox Games for projects like Boyfriend Dungeon, Dwarf Fortress, and more. She is also an organizer for Wholesome Games and regularly writes about marketing tips and creating better communities on her website and monthly newsletter.

Naoko Takamoto

Principal Producer| Double Fine Productions

Naoko Takamoto is a Principal Producer at Double Fine. She has been the Lead Producer on titles such as Psychonauts 2, The Beatles: Rock Band, and Dance Central. Originally hired as a musician for Harmonix Music Systems in 2002, her performances have been included on Amplitude (2003 & 2016), Guitar Hero 2, Rock Band 2, and Fantasia: Music Evolved. 

Brie Chin-Deyerle

Engineering Manager | Riot Games

Brie Chin-Deyerle is an engineering manager with over 10 years of experience working on gameplay and AI systems. Her most notable accomplishment was leading the engineering efforts for Halo Infinite's Bots and Academy features, and has also worked on Halo 5: Guardians, Project Spark, HoloLens, and now works in Riot Games R&D. She is a queer woman who is passionate about fostering new and diverse voices in the industry, crafting joyful and meaningful experiences, and making way too many puns along the way.
