Are you looking to be part of GDC in a bigger way? Then you’ve come to the right page! Whether you’re a game developer, industry enthusiast, or an organization who wants to help bring their community to the event, there are plenty of ways you can join in on the action. Let’s dive into how you can get involved and make the most of your GDC experience!

Indie Giving

The Indie Giving event was an incredible program that allowed game developers to attend the Game Developers Conference 2024 in San Francisco at a discounted rate while giving back to the community. Volunteers snagged an All Access pass, along with a cool t-shirt to remember the experience! Everyone who signed up took part in a charity event supporting Compass Family Services the day before GDC kicked off, with all donations going directly to support their amazing work.

Conference Associate (CA) Program

The CA program at GDC is your backstage pass to the biggest game industry event of the year! Join an awesome crew of fellow gaming enthusiasts, working behind the scenes to help make GDC run smoothly and be part of an unforgettable experience. You’ll help monitor sessions, scan badges, answer attendee questions, and other tasks in exchange for an All Access Pass that can be used during off hours and a little extra cash.

To be eligible to participate you must be able to work in the United States and can work up to 25 hours during the week of GDC.

Stay tuned for more information on when submissions are open.

If you have additional questions, please contact the CA Manager, Ian MacKenzie.
