The Game Developers Conference is a force of nature. I've been a conference producer for three years and I'm still amazed at the breadth of content, special events, and networking opportunities packed into five days. That's why I'm excited to be co-hosting not one, but two GDC 101 sessions at GDC 2025! Whether you're a first timer, need a refresher, or eager to make new connections, we've got everything you need at GDC 101.
GDC 101 is, in short, a crash course in everything GDC. Get the most out of your experience by learning the ins and outs of the show—from choosing sessions to networking, or simply how to get around. GDC is a big event with lots of things to do, and we're here to help you prioritize what you really want to get out of the show, while getting all the basics down in the process.
The first GDC 101 event takes place on Sunday, March 16 from 6:00 to 7:00pm in Room 303, South Hall. It will be followed by our official GDC Travel Together networking event, where you can meet potential travel companions for getting to and from the Moscone Center.
Not planning to arrive until later in the week? We've got a second GDC 101 session on Wednesday, March 19 from 9:00 to 10:00am in Room 303, South Hall.
