Here's Everything an Expo, Expo Plus, Specialty, or Online Pass Offers at GDC 2022

The Game Developers Conference returns to San Francisco this month, with hundreds of sessions, talks, and special events for the game dev community. GDC 2022 offers several pass levels to make sure you're able to get everything you need from the event.

Thousands are expected to return to San Francisco from March 21 to March 25 for the in-person Game Developers Conference (along with the virtual option). If you're still deciding which in-person pass works best for you or your company, here's a handy list of pass details to help you get started! 

Expo (and Expo Plus) Pass

The Expo Pass ($249) is perfect for those eager to get on the floor of GDC 2022 and check out the incredible booths and exhibits—both in-person and virtually. In addition, Expo pass holders get access to GDC Main Stage events, the 2022 IGF Awards and GDCA ceremony, GDC Industry Stage sessions, and Advocacy talks. For just an additional $50, the Expo Plus pass ($299) offers access to Sponsored Content sessions from Meta, Intel, Unity, and more.

All-Access Online Only Pass

Independent Games Summit Pass

Hear from the best and brightest indie game creators with an Independent Games Summit Pass ($399—limited passes available) to attend only IGS-related sessions. The IGS Pass also includes access to the GDC Expo and Online Expo, Sponsored Content, Virtual Networking with Attendees & Exhibitors, Advocacy Sessions, Special Events, Select Online Content, and the 2022 IGF Awards and GDCA ceremony. 

Career Development Pass

A Career Development Pass ($79) gets you access to Game Career Development sessions during the Friday of the event (March 25). The Career Development Pass also includes onsite access to the GDC Expo & Advocacy Sessions (Friday only), and online-only access to Special Events, Select Content, and the 2022 IGF Awards and GDCA ceremony.
