Course Description

In this course, Jonah Lobe will draw from years of experience at Bethesda Game Studios (where he designed dragons, giants, deathclaws, and more) and the years since to help you expand your artistic and creative potential in the realms of Character Art and beyond. Accomplishing this does not require cutting-edge technical ability; rather, he’ll target the foundations of your artistic ability by delving into the powers of line and shape, contrast and color theory, anatomy and personality. By the end of this course, you’ll be overflowing with ideas and ready to build.

Instructor Bio

A veteran of Bethesda Game Studios, Jonah's work can be seen in the renowned Fallout and The Elder Scrolls franchises. He has given international workshops on art and creativity, spoken at game conferences, streamed for Adobe and Pixologic, and served as a Creative and Artistic Director on multiple projects. He lives with his wife and daughter in Brooklyn, New York, and is immensely grateful to have translated his affinity for daydreaming into a career.
