alt.ctrl.GDC Returns in 2020
Co-helmed by veteran indie curator John Polson, the alt.ctrl.GDC exhibit will take place from March 18-20, 2020 in the GDC Expo. Returning for a seventh year, alt.ctrl.GDC is one of GDC's most acclaimed community spaces where visitors can play games using alternative controllers and meet the developers behind these uniquely interesting projects. Check out GDC News to learn more about this year's exciting lineup.
Alt.ctrl.GDC will award $2,000 to the most engaging, intriguing, and well-executed game using unconventional, accessible or alternative physical controls entered into the alt.ctrl.GDC showcase. The award will be given out at the 2020 Independent Games Festival Ceremony held on Wednesday evening March 18, 2020 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
(Please note, if you submit to the IGF you must also submit separately to alt.ctrl.GDC to be considered for the alt.ctrl.GDC Award – the finalists and winner for this award will be selected from the participants of the alt.ctrl.GDC showcase, so please enter via that method.)
