Paul Steed is the creative force behind Exigent, provides the company with strong game development experience and client confidence. He co-founded Exigent almost 2 years ago with his partners Garland Wong and Jesse Rapczak with the goal of creating an art outsourcing company that you can count on. Steed has published 3 books on character modeling and animation, served on the advisory board for GDC, written articles for Game Developer magazine, given talks on making games, helped ship a bunch of games and interactive products across nearly every platform. He’s worked for a developer, a publisher and platform provider so he’s lucky enough to have seen the industry from those 3 important angles. As much as he thinks he knows the only thing he really knows is there’s a lot more to know! His passion is learning, teaching, expensive beer and high polygon women.
